Dear Friends, Family,
2020 has been a year unlike any we have experienced during our lifetimes. Our world has been engaged in a pandemic unlike anything we have seen in nearly a century. Our nation has undergone a presidential election during a deeply divisive time. Our personal lives have changed substantially, and many of our jobs, roles, and contributions have taken on an entirely new meaning.
Over the past year, it has been difficult to feel any level of normalcy as we have adapted our way of living to endure through the adversity we are all currently facing. Through it all, however, we have persevered, and I am writing to remind you that through these unfortunate times, we have continued to move forward, experienced tremendous personal growth, and created memories that will carry through to the next generation.
Our gratefulness for everyday moments, appreciation for others, and gratitude for our way of living have all increased during the year. Our ability to adapt to new situations has increased, be it through our technological abilities, innovative ideas, or our willingness to try new things. We have redefined the meaning of home, from converting our dining rooms into offices to finding new ways to relax without venturing out. While it may seem that 2020 was a step backward, let me assure you that we have all moved forward over the past year, regardless of whether or not these accomplishments appear on our résumés.
As the year comes to a close, let’s move into 2021 with a gratefulness for the lessons we learned in 2020, but also with a motivation to accomplish great things over the next year. Let’s accomplish our goals, raise ourselves to new heights, innovate beyond our imaginations, and create memories that will endure throughout our lifetimes. I challenge you to take steps to improve yourself throughout the next year, and I extend a personal invitation to reach out to me if I can be of assistance to you throughout your journey of personal growth.
I hope the next year
brings you an abundance of joy and success. From
my desk to yours, I wish you a wonderful, safe
holiday season and a prosperous new year.
